Tyler is a small to medium sized city in the county of Smith, Texas in the United States of America. The city was named after John Tyler, the tenth President of United States, from 1841 to 1845. It is also called as "Rose Capital of the Nation" as there is a large number of rose bushes. The city has an elevation of 544 feet.
Like many other towns in the southeastern region of the United States, is in a climate region classified as Humid and subtropical. Its climate is much more similar to that of Louisiana or Florida.
