The Old State House Museum in Little Rock, Arkansas offers you the chance to learn more about the past of the historic state of Arkansas.

The museum is open all year round except for major holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving, from 9am-5pm Monday to Saturday and 1-5pm on Sunday. Current themes showing in the museum include the "Battle Colors of Arkansas", which focuses on the county's role in the American Civil War, and a "Growing Up in Arkansas" exhibition which features memories, items and photographs from people who lived here between 1890-1980.

Visiting the museum will give a unique insight into this unique corner of the South. The museum is eternally popular and hosts numerous special events throughout the year, visitors come back again and again as there's always new things to experience and discover. Admission into the museum is absolutely FREE of charge. Donations are welcome and there is a gift shop on premises where you can purchase souvenirs.

This museum is a very unique experience focusing on a unique part of the world, and anybody interested in the history of the USA will surely find much to pique their interest.
