The DeGray Lake is a beautiful 13,000-acre lake located in the foothills of Ouachita Mountains near the city of Little Rock in central Arkansas. The lake, which was formed by the construction of a dam running across the Caddo River in 1972, offers a wide range of outdoor recreational activities to visitors.

The lake is known for a wide range of water-sports such as scuba diving, swimming, fishing etc. as well as wildlife and nature related outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, biking etc. The DeGray Lake is also a popular fishing destination and is known for its largemouth bass, hybrid striped bass, white bass and striped bass. The Bassmaster Magazine named the lake as among the Top 100 bass lakes in the United States in May 2012.

DeGray Lake Resort State Park, Arkansas' only resort state park, is situated near the lake. The park has a 96-room lodge, an 18-hole championship golf course, a marina and other amenities such as a modern conference center.

The extensive facilities and the wide range of outdoor activities available around the lake make it a must-visit outdoor destination in central Arkansas.
