Little Rock

Little Rock is the capital city of Arkansas and is located in the central part of the state on the south bank of Arkansas River. It is an economically vibrant city with a rich cultural and historical heritage.

The city was named as the second cleanest city in the country by the Forbes magazine in 2011. The city has a large number of cultural attractions catering to a variety of tastes. The Arkansas Arts Center has a huge collection of art including art-works by masters such as Rembrandt and Pablo Picasso in addition to a section dedicated to works by Paul Signac. The Arkansas Museum of Discovery houses exhibits of historical and scientific significance. Other cultural attractions are the Arkansas Repertory Theatre, Historic Arkansas Museum, Quapaw Quarter, MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History, the Little Rock Zoo and Old State House Museum.

The Pinnacle Mountain State Park is located just northwest of the city and offers scenic hiking trails. Another attraction is the 71-acre Arkansas Arboretum, which house natural vegetation from across the state's all six geographic regions.

With its range of cultural and natural attractions, the city promises a delightful time to any visitor.
