Woodbine Crawfish Festival
Downtown Woodbine GA

Sponsored by The Woodbine Citizens Steering Committee, the Woodbine Crawfish Festival is an annual two-day event benefiting various community organizations such as Woodbine Elementary School, Camden County High School, and the American Cancer Society among others. The free-admittance family-friendly event is held each year at the end of April on a Friday evening and all-day Saturday.
Downtown Woodbine is closed to traffic so festival goers can stroll leisurely around the area. There are vendors including arts & crafts such as woodworking and quilts, antiques and other commercial wares. There is also a wide selection of concessions open throughout the event, featuring, of course, crawfish prepared in a variety of ways, but other traditional fair fare is available as well, including funnel cakes and ice cream. Entertainment, in addition to dining and shopping opportunities is also a highlight of the festival with local and regional bands performing annually, both Friday evening and Saturday all day.
Combined with the festival is also a 5K Walk/Run held on Saturday morning of the Crawfish Festival and parade. There is also a special children's area set aside with activities and games for the littlest festival-goers. There is something for everyone, from food to fun, at the annual Woodbine Crawfish Festival.
