Missouri has long been known as the "Show Me" State. And no surprise, with is so much to see in the timeless countryside of Table Rock Lake near Branson. The 52,300 acre Lake was completed in 1958, and provides all kinds of opportunities for visitors.
With an 800 mile+ shoreline, you’ll certainly find a special spot to swim, fish, ski, and every other water activity you can imagine. Table Rock Lake is one of the largest lakes in Missouri, and with a number of resorts and campgrounds close to the water. The lake is just six miles from Branson and popular country music tourist attractions, and many area resorts have free fishing, paddle boats, and bicycles.
Maintained by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, it is beautiful year around. Each year nearly 1.25 million visitors visit the park, rent a boat, and spend a day or a week in the area. The thousands of Oak and Hickory trees that surround the lake offer many “little private areas” for you and your family to enjoy far enough away from town for privacy, yet the convenience of a short drive to see a show. Why not plan your visit today?
