The Branson Strip is the famous highway that runs through town along which many of the popular shows, attractions, shopping, and dining are located. It's an entertainment area in Branson, Mo. similar to "The Strip" in Las Vegas, with lots of shows, clubs, and entertainment in a condensed area. The Strip is the center of the entertainment, dining, & shopping district in Branson. It's also known as Highway 76 or Country Music Boulevard
Branson is known as the live entertainment capital of the world, there are so many fun and exciting things to do there. Most of these popular sights and attractions are found on the famous Branson Strip. There are over 100 live performance acts found along the 76 Strip over the 5 miles or so of Highway 76 known as the Strip! It is lined with luxury hotels, theaters, well-known wineries, theme parks, museums, and many family-oriented attractions.
Branson is a city in Taney County in the U.S. state of Missouri. Branson has long been a popular destination for vacationers from Missouri and neighboring areas. The construction of music theaters by nationally-known performers along Highway 76 has increased Branson's popularity as a tourist destination. Branson now draws visitors from all regions of the country, mostly by car or bus. The population was 10,520 at the 2010 census.
