Tuacahn

Tuacahn is an Amphitheatre and Center for the Arts nonprofit organization, which sits peacefully in the mouth of Padre Canyon, in Ivins Utah. Many people know it as the Broadway of the Desert, which has an invigorating twist to it and adds a whole new level of excitement that you definitely would not find in New York City.

The amphitheatre displays large-scale musical theater productions as well as the Festival of Lights with Nativity during the holiday season. In the spring and fall Tuacahn is known for it’s top tier concert series mostly inviting a different crowd than the “Broadway of the Desert” series would invite, which is ideal in broadening the audience found at Tuacahn. Tuacahn is a sanctuary where the story of the founding history of southern Utah could be told in series of dramatic plays. The design and build of this amphitheatre was dreamt up and envisioned by playwright Doug Stewart, who watched it unfold into reality in his lifetime.

People are amazed after visiting this natural, beautiful amphitheatre nestled in the Utah desert.
