Historic District of St George
The Historic District of St George, Utah centers on the intersections of Main Street and St George Boulevard. There is tons to do, and it all depends on whether you are a classic sight-seeing type, or more of the outdoorsy kind.
If you relate to the former, you can visit the St George Art Museum, that features Utah artists and changing exhibitions as well. Another classic site is to tour the St George Opera House, Old Pioneer Courthouse, or the Old Dixie Academy, all which stand in the center of historic St George. Other historic sites include storefronts, inns, and various other preserved buildings. All of which are charming and well-kept. There is also a walking tour that begins at the Chamber of Commerce building and will lead you all around historical downtown. And why not stop in and take tours inside the still standing historical buildings, as several offer free tours!
