The Smoky Mountain Car Museum
Nestled in the city of Pigeon Forge in Tennessee, The Smoky Mountain Car Museum is a mecca for any classic car enthusiast. Auto lovers would be thrilled to see the vast array of collector cars ranging from Ford Model T horseless carriages to Elvis Presley’s 1971 Mercedes Benz. Motorcycle fans and adrenaline junkies alike would be happy to hear the museum also has Evil Knievel’s Harley Davidson on show.
Families of all ages are welcomed to explore the showroom and take pictures with pieces of American history. In addition to the cars, the museum also boasts many other related collections. There is a globe display and oil signs from gas stations of yesteryear, showcases with die cast models representing their full scale counterparts, car manuals and repair guides, old license plates and other automotive memorabilia on site.
Also on premises is a quaint gift shop to buy souvenirs like hats and shirts from the museum to take home. With early production antique cars, to vintage motorcycles, to famous celebrity owned cars, good old American muscle cars, and many other historical treasures- there is something for everyone at the Smoky Mountain Car Museum.
