The Pier One Theater
The Pier One Theater is a community theater in Homer, Alaska. It is located in a quaint, cute, small, square red building. It is located between the “fishing hole” and the “Small Boat Harbor.”
Nestled near historic and beautiful Kachemak Bay, the theater presents a variety of shows. Ranging from serious dramas, to comedies and musicals, you can see some amazing shows in this little theater! Also offered are youth theater camps and events in the summer, as well as dance and classical music year round. The summer is the most active season, and you can be sure that Thursday through Sunday nights, the Pier One Theater will be playing something!
To find information, you can check the theater’s website or the local paper, the Homer News. Your best bet is to make a reservation or book tickets in advance as the popular shows often sell out! Sometimes tickets are available at the door. Homer is a wonderful town with a lot to see and do.
