The Camelot Farms Equestrian Center is one of Beaufort, South Carolina's premier attractions. Camelot Farms was founded in 1999 by Mark and Anne Kennedy. Their original goal was to create a working farm for their own horses - they now operate South Carolina's premier equestrian training center.
The 60 acre farm is located on the beautiful Saint Helena Island, whose history dates back to the Lucas Vázquez de Ayllón expedition around 1520. If you're up for an adventure, consider dropping by the farm and joining one of their island tours. All ages and skills are welcome. Both horse owners and non-horse people alike are welcome to stay overnight on the farm. The Saddle Pad guest-house is available to rent and has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Campsites are also available.
Camelot Farms has one of the best horse boarding programs in the region. All breeds are welcome to enjoy a comfortable stall and superb pasture. If you don't own a horse but are interested in finding one, the folks at Camelot Farms may even be willing to help you out. Camelot Farms is the perfect getaway for your next South Carolina adventure.
